You're a lucky man or woman if you've never felt this way. Stress is often an unavoidable element
at some point in our lives. Stress in moderate doses can be a good thing. It can keep you on task
and sometimes even add a level of excitement to your life. But stress levels beyond the moderate
level can jeopardize not only your mental state but your physical state if not managed
appropriately. Even more frightening is the fact that some people don't even realize they are under
stress until they reach a breaking point. People deal with stress in a number of ways. How do you
cope?
Also, for many people, lack of time management plays a big role in their lives. It can also
contribute greatly to your stress (sometimes subconsciously).
AWESOME COMMUNICATION STRATEGIES "But that's not what I meant!!!" Have you ever found yourself feeling this way when a person misinterprets something you said?
The way individuals interpret information from others they communicate with differs almost as often as the personalities and experiences of each of these individuals. The world wouldn't be a very interesting place if everyone had identical beliefs, thought patterns, and feelings, but it can be exasperating if the person you are communicating with does not "get" what you're trying to say. It gets even trickier in e-mail when you can't see the body language or hear the tone of voice from the other person.
Some elements of communication skills are covered a bit in the stress management program, but a workshop with this theme goes in depth using personality type, temperament and interaction styles.
