"Leadership and Empowerment through Self-actualization"
Carol Dickson-Carr here.  Thanks for visiting! I definitely understand that time is money, but if
you have a couple of minutes, and you are interested in
healing the healer and nurturing the
nurturer
(the healer & nurturer would be YOU), wonderful.  Please read on.

This isn't a pitch to sell you on economics, but I do believe that the multiplier effect* is not
limited to income, spending, and investments to increase equilibrium GNP by an even larger
amount. I am convinced, however that personal equilibrium (
read: Life Balance and working to
your potential and fulfillment
) can be achieved at a phenomenal rate if you put the right
components into your human portfolio.  It's not about taking from others, it's about giving to
yourself, and as a result, others benefit many-fold.

I feel compelled to ask you a series of questions. It's not a quiz, but I do ask that you consider
the answers to them.  Ready?  Great!

*If you need clarification on what the multiplier effect entails, I'd be happy to explain it to you! Just send me an
email.

Question #1: Are you getting a good  ROI (Return on Investment) - In YOURSELF?
Question #2: Are you managing your personal resources (time, stress, & money to name a
few
) so that you are able to make goals, maintain balance, enjoy life, and take nothing for
granted?
Question #3: Do you take full responsibility for your actions?
Question #4: Are you a dreamer or a doer? Both?
Question #5: Is determination and follow-through part of your essence, no matter the
obstacles
?
Question #6: Do you know and understand the motivation behind your behavior in response to
different circumstances?

If you answered "No" to any of the above, are you interested in turning any of them into a
"Yes"?  If so, please keep reading.

It is my belief  and experience that even already "successful" people strive for continual
personal growth.  You may arrive at a particular destination once you reach a particular goal,
but those destinations are not your only stops.  I consider the "personal growth journey" a tour
to places I've never been before.  We are human beings, and therefore we'll always have room
for growth.  The cliché
Practice Makes Perfect is misplaced in my opinion. I believe the phrase
should be restated to say,
Practice makes you Better... and Better... and Better... But the catch
is that you enjoy the learning process rather than be frustrated. Be your own competition.
Allow yourself to be your own judge.

Self-examination can be uncomfortable at times, even for those who feel that they've already
"arrived," but to enhance the quality of our lives we all need to do that from time to time.

The speeches, coaching sessions, seminars and workshops we offer are tailor-made and
designed to increase a person's success in the workplace as well as in one's personal life by
presenting tips, tools, and techniques that will enhance his or her personal or professional
development and educational experience.
You are never too young or too old to go on this
journey.
These programs are targeted toward anyone who would like to get more out life by
being the best self they can be.

It really
can be all about YOU <grin>.

Typically, people get annoyed with that concept if looked at traditionally. And you might be one
of those people who never made it all about you that way. But now, instead of annoying
people, they'll appreciate you even more when you make it all about you with this
non-traditional approach.  A win-win situation.

The
ideal home and work environment typically consists of harmony, cooperation, tolerance,
productivity, compromise, and a sense that you're being fulfilled. It's not an impossible goal to
reach.  Let us help you!

Here are some of the issues we address:
*Developing and strengthening self-awareness and personal clarity through conversation
and applicable assessments (i.e., personality/temperament, coping and stress, etc.)

*Maintaining or obtaining a healthy self-esteem--especially when outside forces try to
destroy it so that you are
strong and are able to ignore that negative inner voice,
regardless of what life throws at you

*Time management, coping with stress, and identifying stress triggers so that your
mental and physical health become more vibrant

*Understanding others and their communication styles; resolving or heading off
conflict by understanding the different styles (including your own style)

*Identifying problems (or "situations") and brainstorming on how to solve them

*Managing your money in trying and strong economic times
